The Outer Edge of Inside – It’s not just the title of the next Future release, It is the topic of discussion surrounding what many people are expecting to be a unique installment of music from the band.

The Outer Edge is no particular place, it is a reference to the idea that somewhere as we are walking and living and experiencing our lives in the present, we are also simultaneously looking down and in someway peering into that present with our astral body, our soul.

So simply put, ‘The Outer Edge Of Inside’ is a story of cause and effect.  OEOI aims to put you [the listener] in the subconscious shoes of one man’s life experience.  We follow him as he travels through his present existence [Mortalitas - Disc 1] and later learn that the choices he has made have a metaphysical reflection and or outcome to be experienced in his afterlife [Spiritus - Disc 2].

MORTALITAS:

Regardless of the positive or negative attributes of each choice we make in life each comes with a vibration and a lesson.  The beauty of Mortalitas, is that we simply observe the characters unfolding situation.  If we sit back and listen, we may never notice that it is a story.

Mortalitas is Future’s second release and it was recorded at Minimum Wage Recordings in Richmond Virginia. Recorded and Mixed by Lance Koehler, Mastered by Brent Lambert from The Kitchen Mastering, one of the southern regions premier mastering houses.

On Tuesday April 20th, The Outer Edge of inside Vol. 1 Mortalitas will be available for high quality digital download via bandcamp.com, Itunes US, UK and Japan.

The first single off the album is called “Big Easy” it features the horn section from Murphys Kids and Reggie Chapman from NO B.S Brass on the Harp.
